If you consider yourself a performance enthusiast, you owe it to yourself to check out a Roush Mustang. But, what is a Roush Mustang, exactly? Founded by Jack Roush in 1995, Roush is an aftermarket tuning and crate engine company. Mainly, Roush tunes Ford F-150 pickups and Mustangs.

Roush Mustangs come in multiple variations and feature unique performance and cosmetic upgrades. And, let’s just say: they’re bound to blow you away. So, how much is a Roush Mustang? Do Roush Mustangs hold their value? Roesch Ford has all the details you need below.

History of Roush Performance

Beginning his career as a Ford engineer in the 1960s, Jack Roush was always a hot rod and performance enthusiast. He partnered with multiple associations, including NHRA, IHRA, and AHRA to build vehicles for events. In 1995, Jack Roush developed a NASCAR team and launched his legendary company: Roush Performance.

The Roush Mustang

Depending on the level of performance you’re looking for, Roush offers three different street-legal performance packages for the Mustang: Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3. For example, the 2021 Roush Mustang Stage 3 churns out a whopping 750 hp and 670 lb-ft of torque. There are also special edition Roush Mustangs, including the TrakPak Mustang and 450R Mustang. Similar to that of a Shelby Mustang, these tune upgrades are sold as new vehicles and come with limited warranties.

While some Mustangs are transported to Roush for tuning, aftermarket kits are also available, including suspension systems and exhaust kits. Roush also offers a variety of cosmetic upgrades for the Mustang, including scoops and spoilers.

How Much is a Roush Mustang?

How much is a Roush Mustang? Stage 1 tune up packages start at around $8,000 and go up from there. You also have customizable package options which can be coordinated through participating Bensenville Ford dealerships. You can find more information on the pricing of special edition Roush Mustangs on their website.

Do Roush Mustangs Hold Their Value?

Do Roush Mustangs hold their value? Well, depreciation is inevitable for any vehicle. But, the right buyer will pay good money for a well-maintained Rousch, so you’ll likely be better off selling privately. However, we believe that Roush Mustangs are just too special to give up.
