Ford F-650 Towing Capacity & Performance

The final Ford F-650 tow rating depends on two things. First, you’ll get a higher Ford F-650 towing capacity from the diesel engine. Second, it depends on how much the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) is. The GVWR depends on what you add onto the rear axle and how much cargo you’re hauling.

If your gross vehicle weight rating is less than the standard ranges listed here, the Ford F-650 tow rating could be higher. Again, it depends on how you equip the rear axle.
